Readings stay in your browser
Readings are generated in your browser. The birth date and birth time you enter are used on your device to create the reading and are not sent to our ranking board or community. Your browser’s local storage keeps your language choice and a local copy of ranking entries and draft community threads so the app works without an account. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.
Ranking board
If you choose to save a ranking score, the app sends only a nickname, score, sign, theme, and language to our database. Please do not use your real name or other identifying information as a nickname.
Community posts
If you write a community post, the app stores the nickname, topic, message, review status, and time. New posts are reviewed before they appear publicly. Do not post private information about yourself or another person. Unreviewed community posts are not shown with ads.
Cookies and visit statistics
Orbit Oracle uses Google Analytics to understand which readings and pages are used most so the site can be improved. Through cookies, information such as the pages visited, time spent, referral source, device and browser type, and approximate region is sent to Google. Your birth date, birth time, and reading results are not sent to Google Analytics.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are not tracked with analytics cookies until they give consent. You can refuse collection with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Advertising
Orbit Oracle may show ads through Google AdSense to cover running costs. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Third party vendors may also collect information through web beacons and similar technologies to measure ad performance.
You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. Cookies from other third-party vendors can be turned off at aboutads.info. Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the service.
